Structural characterization of liquid phase sintered

Samples of silicon carbide were sintered using different additives: Y 2 O 3 and AlN or CRE 2 O 3 and AlN. The relative densities for the both samples were achieved to be 98 % and the weight losses were lower than 5 %. High-resolution X-ray diffractometry was performed in a sample of silicon carbide sintered using Y 2 O 3 and AlN as additive.
